But that is still unfair
It's unfair to hold Sony to a higher standard than Microsoft. It's unfair because they are in competition with each other.
That's like telling one person they have to score at least a 70 out of a possible 100 to be accepted while giving another person the same test and telling them they have to at least score 90 or above to be accepted.
I mean come on, you think they don't know how critical the U.S. media is on ANYTHING Sony related?
They see how Sony games, ESPECIALLY exclusive games are treated like they ALWAYS have something wrong while Microsoft's games are made out to be perfect gems by the media.
Any flaw from Microsoft's games get overlooked while any flaw from a Sony game is WELL publicized.
But this goes to show how sheep-like the American public as a whole are. If you look at...
He was the one trying to tell people this game was canceled just two days ago. Dude, if you have something against it fine. But just because YOU don't think it might be something good doesn't mean the REST of us agree with you
I swear man, too many people accept fan-based rumors as facts and roll with it.
Anyways, I'm glad to see new information on this game. I wonder if they'll have a demo for this
Fans and the media dub games "halo killers" and "call of duty killers". Free radical NEVER called Haze a Halo Killer. Guerrilla never called KZ2 a call of dusty killer.
The moment some journalist or media entity calls it that, right away everyone says " oooooh the developer calls this a killer of some other great game".
The fans AND the media kept dubbing Haze as a halo killer. Not free radical.
Same thing as now. Guerrilla said they are up for the challenge. And people are only reading/ seeing what they WANT to see. So people are going to take this and say "Guerrilla is saying they're better than IW's call of duty 4".
A super smash bros brawl mode for unreal tournament has already been made.
It sure wasn't a success in Japan. And the American media doesn't even consider it a success in the U.S. because of the sales.
So can you explain what you mean by success?
First off, we both know you won't be in my mom's room considering you're a F@G-A-Tron.
Don't think so? Look at how you gave so much attention to ISA. But it's all good. You and I both know why you're giving men such attention. You have blockage. And you're looking for that special someone to give you that homemade laxative. And since your father isn't around anymore, you need a new reamer to help you sleep at night.
Happy F@G-O-Huntin 4D
Then why don't you man up and put your real pic for YOUR avatar
First off, ANYTHING can be a Flop or a Success. If we as a whole learned anything this generation, it should have been that. Just look at Haze, Lair, Shadow run, Two worlds, and Hour of Victory for examples.
Secondly, the last time Dyack was interviewed, he himself didn't sound all that confident in his product. He almost sounded like he was prepping for damage control.
But you never know, We live in a world where crap games sell great (Kane and Lynch and Mario and Soni...
I remember about a year and a half ago. My cousin was telling me about LBP and showed me a couple of pics in a magazine. I was like "please, that's gonna suck".
But boy do I feel like a total A$$. Every time I look at LBP I wonder how I ever doubted this game.
LBP is not only a game, it is THE game.
I know someone will disagree with me on this, But I think I'll be playing LBP more than MGS4, Socom, Resistance 2, and Motorstorm 2 combined.
I've been googling it and I haven't seen anything about it being canceled. And Infamous is still at Suckerpunch's website.
So until PROOF comes out, I doubt it's canceled.
Gamespot when they reviewed rachet and clank.
They had NOTHING wrong to say about the game. They loved EVERYTHING about it. Except ONE thing. They said it had too much variety.
WTF. When is a lot of variety EVER a bad thing?
And because it had "too much variety", they scored it a 75%.
So there you go. I'll give you more if you want when I get back from work.
This could be Konami reacting to all the negative press ps3 games get. Since even when a ps3 game is great, the american media tries to find something wrong with it.
And to be honest, EGM is one of the culprits of biased reactions.
You are sitting hear talking about the 40 gb ps3 having problems?
First of all, no MAJOR site has said ANYTHING about the 40gb having problems. Which on the flip side, is VERY UNLIKE the 360's hardware problems. I won't even go into the failure rates of both the older AND newer versions of the 360. And also unlike the ps3, the 360's hardware problems are WELL documented from every and ALL MAJOR magazines and websites.
Second, considering you have the 360, you have Z...
Rumortoid, not FACToid :)
I hope you guys aren't using vgchartz
Aaron Greenburg himself even said the 360 only has a 5 million unit lead

It's right there plain as day in the second to last paragraph
But the 360 only has a five million unit lead on the ps3 (which is probably even under 5 million by now)
Here is your link

And this is from Aaron Greenburg's own interview where that fact is stated.
The difference is a mass-killing spree like that is uncommon in Japan. So this is a real culture shock for them.
If this event was in the U.S., then yeah they wouldn't be canceled on account that our society is accustomed to stuff like that
Were talking about a city that has only seen about 50+ murders in a year (Tokyo). The average U.S. city sees close to 1500. Hell, New York had about 2000 last year.
